Last year's party trick was a big sheet of packing paper on my wall. On it guests wrote their New Year's resolutions. My friends were amused when I sent photos of their NYE goals to them yesterday, and one friend proclaimed hers an #epicfail. I, too, failed on many of mine (except my favourite one: Chill the f*&ck out) and it made me wonder why people even bother with resolutions. I guess we're all looking for an excuse to start fresh—a reason to pick up and try again.
This year, rather than resolving to change, I'm going to count the things I did right last year. Are you with me?
